2017 Competition Season​

BFDC Hall of Fame Awards

  • Genesis Torres - 1st place platinum, judges award for picture perfect, 9th overall and all star award

  • Brooklin Laird - 1st place platinum, judges award, 3rd overall and all star award and high score award

  • Leah Sachs - 1st place overall as well as award for best lines

  • Coco - 3rd overall and the award for grace and beauty 

  • Ava - 4th overall  

  • Jessica Spencer - 2nd overall and a Grand Slam 

  • Leah and Jessica Duo - grand slam and 1st overall

  • Paige Shin - 2nd overall 

  • JG - 3rd overall

  • Paige Shin and Hannah Azadi - Grand Slam award and first overall for their duo 

  • Claire Robinson - High Gold and All Star Award

  • Bells - 1st place platinum, judges award for picture perfect, and 9th overall and all star award

 2016 Competition Season

BFDC's Awards at Hall Of Fame 2016

 

  • Mady Kim won her category and 3rd overall for her solo "Grace"

  • Leah Sachs won her category and 6th overall for her solo "Strongest Suit" and "Best Costume"

  • Mady and Leah duo took 2nd overall and 1st place platinum.

  • Jessica Gonzalez and Genesis Torres tied for 6th overall for their solos.

  • Paige Shin and Lauren Kim took 3rd overall for their duo "Diamonds" and Judge's choice award for Showmanship.

  • Paige Shin took 8th overall for her solo "Cold Hearted Snake"

  • BFDC B team took 1st and 2nd overall for their group routines. The also recieved "Best in Category" and "Best Choreography"

BFDC's Awards at Kar 2016

  • Mady Kim won Little Ms Petite Title and first overall for her solo "Grace"

  • Leah Sachs won second over all for her solo "Stongest Suit"

  • Mady and Leah won first overall for their duet "Somewhere only we know"

  • Paige Shin won Miss Junior Title and first overall for her solo "Cold Hearted Snake"

  • Paige Shin and Lauren Kim wont first overall for their duet "Diamonds"

  • Lauren Kim won fourth overall for her solo "All that Jazz"

  • Naoki Yogi took 1st runner up for the title Miss Senior and second overall for her solo " Blackmamba"

  • Genesis Torres, Jessica Gonzales, and Bailey Watkins took 1st ,2nd, and 3rd for their solos in the teen category.

  • Sarah Spencer took 1st overall for her solo "Shelter"

  • Haley Snyder took 4th overall and Hannah Azadi took 7th overall for their solos in the senior category.

  • BFDC B Team Cali girls took second overall and won "Best Costume"

  • Mini Team took 1st for their lyrical number and top first for their musical theatre and jazz routines.

  • Junior company placed tenth overall for their jazz number and second overall for their lyrical.

  • Senior company took third overall for their contemporary number. 

BFDC's Awards at Nuvo 2016

Congratulations to BFDC's own Mady and Leah for their awesome work at NUVO. Mady's solo "Grace" took second overall and their duet "Somewhere only we know took first overall! Great job girls we are so proud of you.

Awards at YAGP 2016

Congratulations to our Ballet Company members Lauren Kim and Coco Labib for their duet placing 12th overall out of over 100 duos! 

Awards at Starbound 2016

  • Olivia Parker won 10th overall for her solo "Safe and Sound"and Judge's Award for "Attack of Routine"

  • Leah Sachs won 3rd overall for her solo "Stongest Suit"

  • Mady Kim won first overall for her solo "Grace"

  • Mady Kim and Leah Sachs won first overall for their duet "Somewhere only we know"

  • Alina Montalvan won the Judges Award for "Sassy Stage presence"

  • Cheer Company won the Judges Award for "Performance plus"

  • Mini Company won Gold for their group routine "Good Girl"

  • Petie Company won Gold for their group routine "A Little Party"

  • The trio of Lacey Nirk, Briana Linderman, and Kyra Nakagaki took Gold for their trio "Sassy Cheer Mix"

 

 2015 Competition Season

Awards at KAR 2015

  •  Mini team wins top awards at MDDTUSA and places in the overalls at Kar.
  • BFDC wins title, best costume, places many routines and solos in the top ten.
  •  Senior team wins first and third overall at Kar.
  • Company wins judges awards, innovation, invitation to New York  workshops.
  •  " 7 devils"  wins "Most Entertaining" and "Video of the Week." It is also in the running for a trip to Cancun. 
  • "Miley Mix" wins best costume.
  • "Who You Are" wins best emotional execution.
 
 

BFDC Awards at Hall of Fame 2015

  • Best Technique for "So Close" and "Near Light"

  • First overall for "Near Light"

  • Second overall for "Unbroken"

  • Judges pick for Best Emotional Execution for "Who You Are"

  • Best Costume for "Arabian Queen"

  • Three Scholarships to join the Hall of Fame All-Star Team
